Bits of Freedom
Matthijs has researched the topic of net neutrality since the summer of 2010 and has worked with Bits of Freedom on desirable policy on the matter. The Bits of Freedom organisation is a main driver behind the amendment to the Dutch Telecommunications law which was adopted in May 2012 with the purpose of protecting net neutrality. He is currently performing research as a PhD candidate at the University of Leiden in his free time. During the week Matthijs works for the Dutch company ICTRecht, providing legal services for various kinds of Internet (related) companies. |
